About Kaelyn Fountain

Determined Advocate

Articled Student

Location: Port Moody

As a summer article student, Kaelyn handled her files with passion and determination. Her success with the firm was marked by effective settlement negotiations, compassionate representation, and an appearance at the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Kaelyn will be returning to Inlet to Article in 2022 and is looking forward to establishing her practice as a bold and results-oriented advocate.

Kaelyn is currently completing her final year at Peter A. Allard School of Law. While at law school she conducted research for her employment law professor, looking at issues for migrant workers, particularly in view of COVID-19. She also volunteered with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program and with the Access Pro Bono’s Will Clinic. She is looking forward to furthering her experience by participating in a Contrancts Law Clinic in her final term.

Prior to law school, Kaelyn obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Honours where she wrote her dissertation on the treatment of women in renaissance literature. Kaelyn is excited to bring this feminist lens into her work as an advocate for survivors of sexual assault, a developing practice area at Inlet. She prides herself on her ability to connect with diverse clients and to represent them with integrity, achieving successful outcomes.
