My termination clause is very limited. Is it binding?

Many contractual termination clauses are not binding. The courts often hold employers to a very high standard if they want to severely limit a worker's entitlement to notice. If your contract provides for little or no notice of termination, there is a very good chance we will be able to invalidate it. Usually the result is that you get a reasonable severance package.
