What to expect

The first consultation, either by phone or in person, is a chance for you to tell us your story and see if our firm is a good “fit”. It consists of a 15-minute consultation where we will explain your legal rights and options and recommend a course of action. If you decide to hire us to represent you, we will also discuss the scope, review the retainer and cost involved in any future work.

What it costs

The first 15-minute consultation is always free. Based on that call we will advise you whether we think it is worth incurring legal fees and (if so) what those fees will be. We will always tell you in advance what something will cost, so there can be no 'sticker shock.'

What to bring

Please bring with you any written material that may be relevant, such as an employment contract or severance offer, any HR policies, or important emails. If you prefer, you can email these documents to us before we meet.
